Greed & Avarice: When Enough Is Never Enough

We don’t talk about Greed and Avarice often in the personal growth space — at least not in a way that cuts through the shame and gets to the energetic roots. But these two forces are present, active, and often hiding in plain sight, showing up in our field, our relationships, and our behaviours.
And more importantly — they distort our alignment.
What Are They, Really?
Greed is the relentless urge to take in more — more things, more praise, more attention, more power — even when it isn’t needed.
Avarice is its quieter sibling — the urge to grip tightly to what we already have, to hoard, to withhold, to fear the loss of what’s "mine."
Both are rooted in the same energetic illusion: That we are not safe to trust the flow.
When Greed enters the field, we become convinced that fulfillment lies just beyond — one more achievement, one more dollar, one more spiritual high.
When Avarice tightens its grip, we close ourselves off to generosity and ease — convinced that giving or sharing will lead to loss, not liberation.
An Analogy from the TQA Field
Picture someone kneeling by a flowing stream, holding a beautiful cup. But they believe it has a hole, so they keep pouring more in — more, more, more — yet it never feels full. That’s Greed.
Now imagine another person next to them, clutching their cup with both hands, afraid to spill even a drop. That’s Avarice.
Both have forgotten the most essential truth:
They are not the cup. They are the stream.
When we entrain to Source, the illusion of lack dissolves.
When we align with sufficiency, the cup overflows naturally — and we can drink, pour, and share without fear.
Where Does It Come From?
For many of us, these energies stem from deep generational patterns. Lineages shaped by war, poverty, betrayal, or survival — where being without was dangerous and having more felt like protection.
We inherit these imprints in the field. But we don’t have to keep carrying them.
In True Quantum Alignment, we work with these distortions gently but precisely. We trace the origin. We acknowledge the wound. We restore the natural flow — not through shame or force, but through awareness and truth.
A Practice for You
If you feel the tightness of Avarice or the pull of Greed, pause. Place a hand on your heart and one on your gut. Then speak this aloud:
“I entrain to divine sufficiency.
I release the illusion of lack.
I trust the flow of life.
I am safe to receive.
I am safe to release.
True Source, True.”
Final Words
Greed and Avarice are not moral failings. They are energetic disturbances — patterns that can be cleared, realigned, and replaced with something far more powerful:
Trust. Sufficiency. Peace.
Let your cup be a conduit, not a container.
The stream is still flowing. You just have to remember how to connect.
